本书分为三个部分:第一部分为物流基础知识,分为10个单元,以基本的物流活动为主线,涵盖了物流系统中各环节的专业英语知识,具体包括物流概述、运输、仓储管理、库存控制、包装、配送、信息技术、采购、第三方物流和逆向物流及供应链管理的基本知识;第二部分为相关的商务信函,具体包括商务信函的基本结构、商务信函的电子形式和相关物流商务信函实例;第三部分是常用的国际物流单证范例。物流基础知识部分的每个单元都包含呼应本单元主题的专业术语以及听、说、读、写、译等学习和训练内容,全方位培养和提高学生的物流英语应用能力,突出高等职业教育的特点。
本书可作为高职院校物流专业英语教材,也可作为物流从业人员自学的材料。
前 言
随着全球经济一体化和我国经济的改革开放,国内和国际物流在社会经济生活中扮演着越来越重要的角色。现代物流行业对人才的需求是不仅要具备物流方面的专业知识,还要具备一定的外语应用能力。
本书作为高等职业院校物流专业英语教材,分为三个部分:第一部分为物流基础知识,分为10个单元,以基本的物流活动为主线,涵盖了物流系统中各环节的专业英语知识;第二部分为相关的商务信函,包括商务信函的基本结构、电子形式和相关物流商务信函实例;第三部分是常用的国际物流单证范例。
本书注重与学生的互动性和内容的实用性,改变了大多数高职物流英语教材内容形式单一的情况:从听、说、读、写多个方面展开教材的各章内容;所选取的内容是物流行业中最常见、通用和核心的业务内容;各章有专业词汇,与高职学生助理物流师培训考试中的英语部分对接;各章案例和课后阅读理解真实地再现了物流运营的实战情况。
通过学习本书,学生能够了解并掌握物流方面基本的专业术语,能够阅读和翻译物流方面的英文文章,用英文进行简单的物流会话并撰写简单的物流英语短文和信函,从而为从事涉外物流相关工作打下基础。
